BJ COLLARD, RN, BSN, CPHQ, RAC-CT, NURSE CONSULTANT & EDUCATOR, PRESIDENT & FOUNDER OF CTS, INC BJ presents workshops on a variety of topics - Assessment, Care Planning, Documentation; RAI System; Management; Quality Indictors/Quality Measures; Quality Improvement and Restorative Nursing. BJ developed the model for delivery of restorative nursing care in post acute care through a grant awarded to her by the Federal Administration on Aging. BJ authors a Restorative Nursing Manual and a Quality Improvement Manual. Her firm provides routine consultation, Mock Surveys, System Analysis, Restorative Nursing Program analysis and training and Quality Improvement system implementation and training. BJ has a strong clinical background based on her years as a practicing Adult and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner collaborating with physicians to provide care to nursing home residents. She has management expertise in directing the delivery of care and services in a variety of settings, including a post heart surgery hospital unit. BJ knows what works, knows the regulations and knows how to implement systems that are in compliance and based on best practice. BJ has a track record of success with workshop presentations, consultation and systems implementation that sustain quality and compliance over time. BJ is a charter member of AANAC and served on AANAC'S original board of directors for 5 years.
